In life. We all know that some things can happen unexpectedly. Some may ultimately change your heart and shift your direction. This is a journey of love and how the Holy Spirit did exactly that this story will walk through the 24 months of an incredible soul felt journey with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. We will share in many events that could be considered spirit, led or miracles. This is Triune loves me with Lori Garner.

Speaker 2:

Hi, and welcome back. This is Lori. I'm so happy you could join me again today. Now, if you've been on board since the beginning, this is episode 13 and you are definitely a part of my story. And I thank you for that. And I want you to know you've blessed my soul, and I hope some of my journey has blessed yours as well. So grab your cup of coffee, your favorite chair, and let's share this time. I do believe many people will look at my journey and say, wow, that's a lot of things that happened in two years. And basically I say yes, and I was wowed at all of them, but I believe the reason they seem like there's a lot is because my soul was open to see them. I was seeing people with new eyes. I was feeling things with a new heart and many things happen. So yes, I opened my soul and I saw Him and I saw Him at every turn. I do believe He's just as active in your life. As He as mine. You just need to take the time and stop and look and understand that it's Him moving in your life when things do happen. Now, I told you my listener the last time that I would let you know if I made my 5k run. And yes I did. When I got there, I was in a church now, color me surprised. He puts me in places that always surrounds him. I don't know why it just happens. Anyway, I got there, got ready for the race. I ran through mud through puddles, through grass, through hills. And this Florida girl does not do hills very well, but I still made it. And when I saw the last stretch going into the finish line. I will admit to you the listener I was calling out everybody's name. I knew in heaven because I needed their help to get across. And yes, I made it. Thank God. And to my surprise, I came in third in my age group. Isn't that amazing.

:

Now, since I accomplished that, I thought I'd give it another shot. And I did try another 5k in Nashville, downtown for St. Jude's hospital. I thought that was an reason to run. And I did make that one also. And for any of you that are thinking that you might want to try to do a 5k, there's a great app on your phone called couch potato to 5k. That's how I did it. And I recommend it highly. For those of you who have been with me since the beginning, you know, I've been on a spiritual journey to beat the bands, no pun intended, because music has played a significant part and I've been chasing God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit during that time.

Speaker 2:

Now I've done a lot of fun and exciting things along the way. And I plan on sharing a couple of those with you today. The first one I thought I was going to a regular church service in Brentwood. I got there, I parked my car. I go running inside and I found myself in the middle of a music conference for Christian artists. And they gave a free concert that night. I was there by myself, but what an amazing evening, the second one was a surprise as well. I got up on a Saturday and I saw on my phone that they were having a creative breakfast in Franklin, Tennessee. And I told my husband, you know what, I'm going to go to this. You're working. I'm creative. Why not? And I got myself dressed and I went to the location that it stated. And when I got there, I looked at the sign of where it was located and it was a church and I knew it was Him and I had to laugh and say here to you're everywhere I go. Now I met a lot of nice people there, amazingly enough. Most of them were writers and I was blown away because everyone keeps telling me, I have to write a book. Now, one in particular stands out. And at the end of the breakfast, she comes up to me and she puts her hand out and she shakes my hand and she tells me, her name is Kim Aldrich. And I said, hi. And I said, my name is Lori. And she says, what do you do? And I told her what I did. And I said, well, what do you do? She says, I'm a writer. And I've written a book and I go, what's the book. And she pulled out the book and it's called Disciple sips. It's discipling over coffee. And it's the most amazing book. So I bought the book that day and I'm not even a reader. I actually bought the book out of just wanting the book. I got home and I opened it up and it was such an easy read. And what I found fascinating was I was doing what was in the book, not even knowing what I was doing. And that kind of gave me a wow, how am I doing this without knowing what I'm doing? So I set up a meeting with her and we went and had coffee at Starbucks, and we spent a couple of hours just chatting about it. And then while chatting over coffee, I find out her husband is a musician and he's having a concert. Guess where in Franklin, of course I went. And that was another stop that I made. And that was an amazing evening as well. Now you may look at all of these as coincidental, but I assure you, they're not. He has been driving my life for the last two years and it's been the most amazing two years of my life. Now let me add one more. Now, one day I was feeling very melancholy and I came across a song by Philippian Hannah and I listened to it and I started to cry and I text her that day and I told her, I loved her music and it was speaking to my soul and she was very sweet and texts me back. And she said, I'm going to be coming to Tennessee. And maybe we should get together for a photo shoot. And I text her back and said, that would be amazing. Cause I really loved her music and I would love to meet her. So this is what happened next, that same day I played her song for my son-in-law. I told you, he's a producer in Tennessee. His name is Jim Jonsin and he really did enjoined her music. He said, you know, I'm having a writer's camp soon. She's coming into town. Maybe she would like to join us. Why don't you invite her. I said, I don't know her like that, but I'll be more than happy to ask her. So I did. Yes, sir. And she was very excited about the opportunity. And she said, sure. So we exchanged numbers and we gave the information to their managers and they worked it out and made it happen. Now, when I found out she was coming in the date, I was a little bit disappointed because Lifetouch had put me in a church, three hours away from Brentwood. So I decided to go to Oak Hollow studio first and then go on to work. So I would at least get to meet her.

:

I was at the studio and a few minutes after I was there where she walked in, beautiful blonde hair, big eyes, welcoming, smile, and great, amazing English accent, which I love and English accent, we hugged. And then we shared stories just a little bit. And then she pulled out this book and she proceeded to hold it in front of me and said, this is just hot off the press. I just got them today. It's a devotional book that she wrote called amazing you. And she said, this is for you. And I go, can I pay you for it? And she said, no, it's for you. You may just happen. Now you might call that a coincidence, but I don't because in my opinion, there's no way that I would have connected somebody in the UK with me in Tennessee and connect all these dots by my self. There is no way he is the only one that could have made this happen. Now we finished up our hellos and our goodbyes and all of that and I left. Now, think the story gets just a little bit better. I went on to work and I was there for several hours and they were writing music for several hours. And then I get a text message from my son-in-law sending me the track that they had written. And I listened to the song and I started to cry at work and I texted him back and I said, the song is beautiful. It touched my soul. It made me cry. And then he texted me back and he said, the next time you see her ask her what happened when we were doing this song.

Speaker 2:

And that kind of left me really wondering. Now I'm going to leave you the listener hanging. I was able to schedule a photo shoot the next day. We went to Arrington Vineyards, Tennessee. She arrived there. She was beautiful as ever the photo shoot went really well. We had a lot of great photos come out of that. But at the end of that afternoon, we sat at a picnic table and we shared a lot of conversation. And during that conversation, I asked her, Jim told me to ask you what happened exactly when you were doing that song. And she paused for a moment. And then she told me that while they were doing that song on the screen that Jim works on, I don't know what the software is that he was using at the time. But it's one that he's been using for many, many years. The word agape showed up and he was amazed like, how did that happen? That's never happened all the years. I've been working. Now you tell me agape is what's written on my wrist. And it means the greatest love for God, for man and man for God. And you're going to tell me that's a coincidence. I have somebody come over from the UK that connects with me, connects with Jim. And that word is written. There's no way that I'll believe that that was a coincidence. How does that happen? It was Him. It's always Him. And He's got me on the most amazing journey, and you're a part of my journey. Thank you for being here. I want to ask you the listener a question. Do you think you're here by coincidence? Do you think it's synchronicity? I don't think so because God has a plan and somehow He made our paths cross and you're listening to my story for a reason. So, do come back because next time I want to tell you why my name is Trinue Loves Me on this podcast and that will blow your mind. Thank you for listening. I hope you enjoyed our time together.
